Edit: Reminder to not watch the previews for the upcoming episodes because of spoilers!. SPOILER. Oh shit it's Kil's gramps! Zeno with the Nen Dragon to bring Netero to the battlefield! Hypest last second to midnight ever!!!
Awww shit the palace invasion has begun! And.we are a couple of seconds into it! Narrator-kun has arrived to tell us the full life story of Netero and detail every single move of his in the meantime:-D I can see how this is going to take a while. Daily MVP Yeah yeah, Netero is a certified badass, reacting to Pitou's preparation to attack within a tenth of a second with his own crazy move.
And sure, that little flashback of his showed how much he's dedicated to his Nen. But this old man wouldn't even be right there above the palace without Zeno's fucking NEN DRAGON man!
Plus that Dragon Dive just looks siiick. Racking up those cool points with me! He gets my MVP today Another cool badass dude to match Netero and DRAGON DIVE is perfection. Time for a small trip down memory lane.Anyone remember a good 60 episodes ago when I said Dragon-themed powers would be great? I was thinking of Dragon Dive. Dragon powers are just awesome!
'Two minutes before Morel issued the call to attack, two men leaped from a giant bird flying high over.the republic of East Gorteau'. Man, the narrator gives me goosebumps sometimes.
Let's put this in perspective. Zeno Zoldyck, a Nen master and extremely strong assassin, acknowledges that Netero is a few steps above him in strength. Well, he has a particularly ridiculous ability.
The idea of how he obtained this power is fascinating too. He obtained using a pure, less complicated version of the Nen restriction clause. The concept of repeating those moves with a pure heart gave him a strength to match that resolve. It's even possible Netero's accomplishment was what first spawned the idea of restriction-based Nen usage in the first place.
Achieving something far surpassing your own limits by setting yourself a condition is something we all do in one form or another, but Togashi's way of integrating it into his battle system is nothing short of genius. Man, the narrator gives me goosebumps sometimes. He really does pump up the hype sometimes by putting everything into perspective! Let's put this in perspective. Zeno Zoldyck, a Nen master and extremely strong assassin, acknowledges that Netero is a few steps above him in strength. Well, he has a particularly ridiculous ability.

Achieving something far surpassing your own limits by setting yourself a condition is something we all do in one form or another, but Togashi's way of integrating it into his battle system is nothing short of genius. The fact that Netero was an old man when Zeno was born is still mind blowing to me.
I love how he came about his ability in such a wholesome way. It combines hardwork with gratitude in a way that really shows humanity at its best. (First timer here) I'm no, but holy crap! As soon as I saw, I realized that I recognized those ankles and suddenly thought that the 'third party' must be Zeno and Silva.
After being hit with that sudden realization, though, it turns out anyway! I remember hearing about an episode in which all of the action is taking place over a minute or so, so it's good to finally be here. I do think using flashbacks is cheating on the whole 'only covering one minute' claim, though getting some backstory of Netero was pretty cool. Of course, the action being drawn out so much means there were way too many screenshots to take! Pitou's (and Pouf's), her, and her all made this episode click for me, though, despite having to pause every five seconds.
I do find it funny that, despite everyone else's supposed role, it was Netero who drove Scariest Ant away from the King, at least temporarily. I want to know what Pitou's ultimate move does, but that comes with the classic problem of not wanting to see her use it on our boys. Given that one Royal Guard has to hike a few miles back to the palace and the other can only fly as fast as his wings will carry him, it's! Knuckle and Meleoron might be able to slip past, but everyone else will have to stay and fight. Togashi's made me a nervous wreck. For a moment, I thought Shoot would immediately be separated from his head when Youpi noticed him, a la Attack on Titan. Despite his cowardice in his initial appearance, it takes major guts to be the first one charging forward.
The only other thing I can really point out is that, although no-one else did. After such a long set-up, the hype thrusters have finally been engaged! I realized that I recognized those ankles and suddenly thought that the 'third party' must be Zeno and Silva. After being hit with that sudden realization, though, it turns out I was only half-right anyway! One Zoldyck for the price of two!
(Actually probably two Zoldycks worth for this mission.) I do find it funny that, despite everyone else's supposed role, it was Netero who drove Scariest Ant away from the King, at least temporarily. I love how for once we have a human looking down on one of the Ants and just laughing at them in a super intimidating way before forcing them out of the picture. After such a long set-up, the hype thrusters have finally been engaged!
